Before starting a family, Briska pursued a career as an artist and completed a comprehensive art program at the Saidye Bronfman Center while working as a hairdresser. She holds a certificate in Management from McGill University and a veterinary assisting diploma from Ashworth College.

After 37 years in hairdressing, Briska sought a career change motivated by her love for animals and a strong interest in their well-being. She enjoys every aspect of her new role, from the initial contact with clients and their pets to assisting with surgergical prep, sterilizing intruments, and providing essential care to your beloved furry friends.The best part of her job is helping animals and being part of a great team that shares her dedication and caring attitude.

Having grown up on a farm surrounded by numerous pets, she now cares for Siberian Huskies, cats, a conure, and fish, including an eel. She has always had a deep love for horses, as previously owned both a horse and a donkey!
